Apple Add Notifications For Not Genuine iPhone Camera Parts

There is indeed peace of mind when we do service at an authorized Apple place. This is due to the guarantee of the availability of many spare parts and also the authenticity of the parts used. However, people still choose to service to third parties, especially if it weren't for the much cheaper price.

Unfortunately, now if you service your iPhone camera to a third party, be prepared to get a warning notification. In the latest iOS 14.4 update, Apple will display a warning message if it detects that the iPhone has been repaired with a non-genuine camera part.

This doesn't mean the camera can't be used, but rather it alerts the user to potential problems that could occur. According to Apple support documents, using non-genuine spare parts may result in the camera unable to focus properly resulting in an unsharp image. At worst, it can cause third-party camera apps to freeze and stop working properly.

Not all third-party fixes use fake components. Typically, some third-party technicians use uninstalled components from other unused iPhone hardware cannibals. Apple has a registration number for each part of an iPhone. If there is another part with a serial that does not match the original conditions, you will receive a notification from Apple.
